Geology of Utah's National Parks (GE 2900/5130)
Held Annually

Michigan Technological University is offering a Utah field geology course for undergraduates or K-12 teachers. Learn basic geologic concepts - in the field - in five of Utah's National Parks and Monuments. Determine how climate, sea level, and tectonic activity change through time. Work closely with instructors on research questions.

  • GE 2900 - 3 undergraduate semester credits
  • GE 5130 - (for K-12 teachers) - 4 graduate semester credits
