Manahawkin Bottomland Hardwood Forest
Manahawkin Bottomland Hardwood Forest is a mature bottomland hardwood forest dominated by sweetgum, red maple and black gum. It is one of the finest remaining examples of bottomland hardwood forest in the northern Atlantic Coastal Plain biophysiographic province.
