Hook Mountain and Nyack Beach State Park
Hook Mountain and Nyack Beach State Park contains a portion of the Palisade sill. The site contains geological deposits that are characteristic of the filling of basins during the rifting and opening of the North Atlantic Basin 180-200 million years ago.
