Franklin Bog
Franklin Bog is a cold, northern sphagnum-heath bog containing a small, dark-water pond, surrounded by an enormous floating mat that is dominated by sphagnum moss and low-growing leatherleaf. Black spruce and tamarack dominate the forested perimeter.
