Furnace Creek Water

Furnace Creek location map
Road map of Furnace Creek area.

Accessibility

spacer image There are three major water sources located about two miles east of the Furnace Creek Visitor Center near Highway 190. However, since all of these sources have been tapped to supply the water needs of the Furnace Creek area, there is no good access here to naturally flowing springs.

Suggestions for your visit

spacer image The abundant vegetation along Highway 190 signals the presence of precious water in this dry desert. The Furnace Creek Wash just south of the highway provides the easiest access to this riparian zone.
