Location of Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park and Kilauea Summit Area
Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park is located in the southern part of the Island of Hawai`i. Air quality monitoring stations at the Jaggar Museum and Kilauea Visitor Center, at the summit of Kilauea, provide the sulfur dioxide (SO2) and weather data used in the Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park SO2 Advisory Program. The advisory is specific to this summit area.
