Roosevelt Campobello International Park Air Quality Monitoring

Air Atlas is a GIS database of air quality estimates for 270 parks that are part of the NPS Inventory and Monitoring Program. These estimates can be used when on-site monitoring data is not available.

Atmospheric Deposition Monitoring
Neither wet nor dry depositions are monitored in Roosevelt Campobello International Park. Wet deposition has been monitored at an NADP/NTN site (#ME98) in Acadia NP since 1981 and at a CAPMoN site in Kejimkujik NP, Nova Scotia, (site #KEJ) since 1983. Dry deposition has been monitored at a CASTNet site in Acadia NP (#ACA416) since 1998.

Ozone Monitoring
Ozone has been monitored seasonally at Roosevelt Campobello International Park since 1995 through a joint effort of Environment Canada, the Maine Department of Environmental Protection, and the park.
Visibility Monitoring
Visibility is not monitored at
Roosevelt-Campobello International Park; however, the visibility monitor at Moosehorn NWR is considered representative of Roosevelt-Campobello International Park.
