The Challenge

Protecting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks from air pollution's threat is a challenging task, one that park staff cannot accomplish alone. More than a hundred years ago, people worked together to create these parks. These foresighted people realized that the best way to ensure a prosperous future was to protect the resources they had. The same holds true today.

By working together to reduce air pollution, we can protect the unique treasures of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks and at the same time protect the health and welfare of generations to come.

The future is in our hands; let's act wisely. Sequoia tree cross section with dates.
